My Cup Runeth Over
I am overwhelmed and emotionally bloated! My cup has been overflowing since I hit the send message on my email last night. I can not tell you all how much I appreciate you love, support, offers of help and friendship. One of my best friends called at 5:02 and was concerned that she had missed something....a clue, a hint, a sign......I assured her that she missed nothing and that we intentionally decided that we wanted to keep this private. My prayer to the universe, per the book, went out to to masses in theory but the real prayer went out last night to all of you. We love you all and thank you truly. To the other "Fisher 5" who have experienced unbelievable healing, please add Mark to the prayer lists. To my aunts offering their nursing skills (knowing that mine are sub par), thank you and don't be surprised if we call you to action! Hugs to one and all and truly, our cups are running over with the love we feel and it makes me have to wear waterproof mascara for a different reason today......tears of joy!!!!

Thank you so much, Melanie, for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. As your friends and supporters, it helps us to know where you are so that we can better support.
ReplyDeleteSometimes when people go through challenging times like this, they feel hesitant to ask for help. Know that people want to help, and want to know how to best help--whether it be a shoulder to cry on, a dinner, or giving the kiddos a lift to the activity du jour.
I like the blog name, but black streaks are OK too.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family!

To The Fisher 5,
ReplyDeleteYou entered The Bednarek 3 Lives by whim, by chance- but don't be mistaken, we fell in love with you all the minute our boys stepped out in to the arena with their sticks.
Over the years, we've had the pleasure of sharing all of the fun times with you all. Our Mark's together have been lucky to smoke cigars and
shoot pistols, doing the manly thing.
And now, comes the time where good friends really and truly will rally
around you, for whatever may come your way. You and Mark are both strong, positive and intelligent people. You will make this work, and we know it will all be good.
But along this bumpy and difficult road, please remember that there are so many of us that love you all, and are here to give you whatever you need in the way of support, love, hope and faith.
Together, we will all get you through this.
xoxo
Our family is sending your family thoughts and prayers for Mark's speedy recovery. We know that all will go well! I'm certainly not the best communicator but want you to know how much we care about the Fisher 5 and the family friendship we've built. Please, please, please don't hesitate to ask for any help....If you need help with the kids while you have to attend dr. appts. etc., We will be checking in on you too. Mark you are a wonderful, formidable man and we know you will kick butt. xoxo - Shelly Patterson
